As of November 14th, 2010, the website Tlaxcala features a line in Esperanto. Tlaxcala in Esperanto, and Esperanto in Tlaxcala: two international collectives conscious of the linguistic and cultural diversity of the world in which we live join forces to continue working for a more humane world.
For Esperanto speakers, Tlaxcala is a new forum for reflection, discussion and multilingual collaboration. People interested in providing original texts or translations or else in proofreading other authors can write to tradukejo[at]gmail[dot]com.
For Tlaxcala activists and users Esperanto will be perhaps a different and scarcely known way of seeing and living – free of intermediaries – that above-mentioned multiculturalism. Those who are curious about this language can begin, for example, with web sites like Lernu.
In short, we want the Esperanto line of Tlaxcala to serve as a bridge between two efforts which, without knowing it, probably share a large number of approaches and objectives.
