Today, July 14, 2010, Tlaxcala enters a new period of its history: we present our new website after several months of arduous work by our voluntary members under the direction of our dear webmaster.
The website tlaxcala-int.org now takes over from tlaxcala.es which will be online (click on TLAXCALA ARCHIVE 2006-2010, in which readers can access the 10,000-odd articles in 15 languages that we have published since February 21, 2006). We have sought to make this new site more elegant, more efficient, more accessible. We will keep working to improve it and make it more complete.
We have travelled a long way in these past five years. The challenge we set ourselves from the first day was enormous and seemingly foolhardy, but we have managed to keep our multi-lingual and intercultural website going with no other capital than our will and our individual abilities. The road that remains to be traversed is still a long one:
We want to extend our linguistic field towards more diverse languages of humanity, whether spoken by a billion people or only thirty thousand.
We want to make possible links and convergence between the struggles for liberty, justice, democracy and life, and the people who carry it forward, all over the world.
To the North and South, East and West, there are still many Bastilles that remain to be stormed.
