Annamaria Rivera

 

Anthropologist Annamaria Rivera (Taranto, 1945) is Professor emerita of Ethnology (Department of Historical and Social Sciences) at the University of Bari, a feminist, anti-racist and anti-speciesist activist.
Among her research fields there is the critical investigation of key categories and concepts of social sciences and the analysis of the changing forms of ethnocentrism and racism in contemporary societies. She is the author of numerous books.
