Elian Peltier is a breaking news reporter in the London bureau of The New York Times.
He joined the Paris bureau in the summer of 2017 as a reporter, after covering the French presidential election of 2017 as a freelancer. He focused on daily news in France and enterprise stories about immigration, social issues and sports. Mr. Peltier also covered recent terrorist attacks across France and the fire at the Notre-Dame cathedral, among other major recent events.
Mr. Peltier graduated from Sciences Po university in Paris with a dual master's degree in journalism and international security.
