Daniel Gascón (Zaragoza, 1981) is a Spanish writer and translator. He studied English and Hispanic Philology and Hispanic Philology at the University of Zaragoza. His most recent book is Entresuelo (Random House). He has published the books of stories La edad del pavo (The age of the peacock) (Xordica, 2001),El fumador pasivo (The passive smoker) (Xordica, 2005) and La vida cotidiana (The daily life) (Alfabia, 2011). He was co-screenwriter of the film Todas las canciones hablan de mí (All the songs speak of me) (2010), by Jonas Trueba. He is the editor of the Spanish edition of Letras Libres magazine.
He has translated authors like Christopher Hitchens, Saul Bellow, George Steiner, Mark Lilla, Sherman Alexie and V. S. Naipaul.
