Workshop19 is a project born after the Tunisian revolution. It is a work in progress.
Workshop19 will be a publishing house that tries to move with the times, in this time of upheaval, where all ideas are shaken up.
Workshop19 is a cross-border project. Based in Tunisia, it has a worldwide perspective and seeks a global audience. All boundaries -- geographical, political, cultural or even mental -- are disappearing or at least in motion.
Workshop19 will accordingly publish books and other products in French, in Arabic and in other languages, in partnership with publishers and other projects around the world, starting with the Mediterranean. It will provide a creative workshop, bringing together artists in all fields and disseminating their work.
Workshop19, because Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, of December 10, 1948 has established our path: "
Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers."

Our program is under construction. In 2012-2013, we plan to publish six books. In subsequent years we expect to increase our annual production.
We enthusiastically welcome any manuscript that is submitted to us and any proposal for partnership.
