Aziz Krichen عزيز كريشان

 

Aziz Krichen (Kasserine, 1947) is a sociologist. He was a militant of the Tunisian far left in the 1960s and 1970s. Appointed Minister Counsellor for Political Affairs of the President Moncef Marzouki on 1 January 2012, he resigned May 2, 2014.
A member of the politburo of the Congress  for the Republic, one of the three parties of the "troika" in power during the "transition", he resigned on 19 December 2013.

  • La promesse du printemps (The promise of spring) (Ed. Script, March 2016, 430 pages), an assessment of the Tunisian revolution of 2010-2011 and the early stages of "transition", based on the experience of the author at the Presidency of the Republic.
