Aziz Krichen (Kasserine, 1947) is a sociologist. He was a militant of the Tunisian far left in the 1960s and 1970s. Appointed Minister Counsellor for Political Affairs of the President Moncef Marzouki on 1 January 2012, he resigned May 2, 2014.
A member of the politburo of the Congress for the Republic, one of the three parties of the "troika" in power during the "transition", he resigned on 19 December 2013.
