Quino is gone. He leaves us alone with Mafalda, Felipe, Susana, Guille, Libertad, Manolito and Miguelito

Fausto Giudice

Quino, the ingenious inventor of Mafalda, who has been with us for fifty-six years, has left. In the fifteen years of existence of our site Tlaxcala, there was almost always a cartoon of Mafalda suitable to illustrate an article. Quino knew how to express a universal popular wisdom. UNESCO, which had already hosted the exhibition Mafalda, a 50-year-old girl, in 2014, should inscribe Mafalda and company in the World Heritage of Humanity. Here are some tributes.

-Quino died!
-I'm very sorry. Come in. Let's talk
-Have a beer?
-I've only soup

Juan Kalvellido

"My second Dad is gone. Thanks for everything  #Quino (1932-2020)"
"We sensed it: rthe true Little Prince was Quino"
