Thus, on this Sunday, November 11, 2018, 80 Heads of State and Government, invited by Emmanuel Macron, will celebrate the end of the Great War of 1914-18 at the foot of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Among those absent from the ceremony are the descendants of Senegalese riflemen who did not obtain a visa because of "migration risk". There will be others absent from this ceremony: the peoples martyred by the Great Butchery, which launched the 20th century and its procession of horrors - wars, massacres, genocides, epidemics. It is generally said that the First World War killed about 19 million people. We forget the influenza pandemic that immediately followed the war and killed between 50 and 100 million people, mainly young adults, from China and India to the USA and Europe. And of course we have forgotten the thousands of soldiers shot by their own brothers in arms, on the orders of their commanders, starting with the "great soldier", Philippe Pétain, whose name alone sums up all the French infamy. The thousand soldiers of the French Empire "shot as an example", the thousands of soldiers of the British Empire, the German Empire, the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the Russian Empire, the Ottoman Empire, the Kingdom of Italy who suffered the same fate for refusing to fight, are the only true heroes of this dirty story. Let’s observe a minute's silence to honour them.

No war between peoples, No peace between classes!
